Our Lil Kicker :)

Jameson had his first organized sport experience yesterday! It was hysterical!!! He didn't do any of the things the coach asked except for the running backwards part :) He just wanted to run and kick the ball around. Which was fine with me since all I was trying to get our of it was a killer nap for him later ;) I don't know if we will stick with it, he is tad young, but we will try again next week and see how it goes.

"Put me in Coach, I'm ready to play!"

"This ball is not very comfortable to sit on!"

"Oops wrong side"

Bend it Like Beckham!!!

"Hands work better than feet, Coach!"

"Hey there pretty lady, wanna watch me score a goal?" :)

"Whew! I deserve a water break"

Sneak Peek of Fall Pics

Since Hudson's first birthday falls at the end of January we decided to postpone our professional family pictures until then. But because of my obsessive love for Christmas cards I had to have some quality pics of the boys :) So we set out for Lincoln Park last weekend to snap a few shots in the fall leaves. Because of the ages of the boys and the difficulty to keep them still you will be sans Andy and Kylie in the Christmas card as we were the photographer and stager :)
Look forward to sending you all Holiday Greetings from The Kirklands!!!

"Argh!!!" and "Roar!!!"

This being our first Halloween in Seattle and Hudson's first Halloween we wanted to get the full experience. The boys got suited up 3 different times :) On Saturday we went to our neighborhood "downtown" called The Alaska Junction. All of the stores and restaurants hand out candy. It was quite busy and a tad overwhelming. But the boys did great in the wagon! Then we walked to our neighborhood pizza joint Zeeks to get some lunch and an adult beverage for mom and dad, it was necessary :) After lunch we walked to Jd and Hudson's friend Stella's house. Her mom, Pia, and I do Stroller Strides together. All of our friends were there and it was quite good time. Here are pics from that day!
On Monday, Halloween Day, we went to Stroller Strides and got dressed up then. We had intentions of going trick or treating in the neighborhood that night but the boys did not nap well. But I did put them back in their costumes to hand out candy to the trick or treaters. Unfortunately we only got a few so we ended up setting the bowl outside unattended. And to my amazement there was still a half a bowl of candy left at the end of the night!!!
We are excited for next year!

Isn't he just the cutest little tiger you ever saw? :)

My girlfriend Kim said it best; "Nothing scarier than a pirate with a paci!" ;)
