Baby Bedding Made with Love

I was having a hard time finding baby bedding that I liked. So my girlfriend, Nicole, decided for my shower gift she was going to make the bedding for the baby. I thought she was crazy (which she is) but she actually pulled it off! It is so perfect!!! I can't believe she made it. I can't even sew on a button and she sewed bumpers with piping, a quilt, a bedskirt, and a satin fitted crib sheet!!!! She is amazing and I love her for her nutty ideas and type A follow through :) Thanks Nicole, it is better than I imagined!

Double the Birthday Fun ;)

All along we have known that I will be a scheduled induction because of the heparin medication. But the date was not officially locked down. Well today Dr. Foltz said, "October 9th we will have a baby!" What a great date considering that it is also Andy's birthday! So father and son will share their special days. I couldn't be more thrilled and Andy said he will be having the best birthday ever! 18 days to go!!!!

Mason is 4!!!!

So I am posting this a day early because I know I will not have time tomorrow to put this up. 4 years ago on 9/11 our family was blessed with a sweet little boy named Mason William. I was privelaged enough to be in the room for his birth. It was a moment that I will never forget, both in good and bad ways ;) But Mason brought light to a day that was to be an eternal dark cloud. He helped us remember that life can be beautiful, pure, and untainted. My nephew has more personality and spunk than most adults I know! He is truly one of a kind!!! Happy 4th Birthday Mason!!! Aunt Ly Ly and Uncle DooDa love you very much!
