5 months!!!

We had Jameson's five month checkup today. We are a little late on this visit. He weighed in at 18 lbs. 8 oz. (90th percentile) 26 inches long (50th percentile) and 17 inch head (50th percentile). He is a BIG BOY!!!
He is eating 3 meals a day. Rice cereal for breakfast, veggies and fruits for lunch and dinner and of course some bottles in between :) He loves all foods so far. We have tried sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, peas, green beans, apples, pears, and blueberries. And by the way I am making all the baby food. I know I know you can pick yourself up off the floor now ;)
He is doing great with sleeping, usually a 10 hour stretch with an occasional wake up at the 7 hour marker. Mom and Dad are loving their sleep!
Everything health wise is great! Still no repercussions from the diaphragmatic hernia!!! We are so lucky. The dr. said today, "usually diaphragmatic hernia babies have a problem gaining weight!" HAHA!!!!! He is beating all the odds :)

Easter Pictures

Kelley and I took the kids to get their pictures taken yesterday. Because of budgeting reasons we had to go the cheaper route and use Picture Innovations instead of the lovely Live Loved Photography. They turned out very cute and we are so glad we have pictures of the three of them. Happy Easter!!!

Holy Diaper Cake!

So Kelley and I decided for our friend Kristin's baby shower we would make a diaper cake. We had never made one before but with a little online tutorial and a phone call to a crafty friend we succeeded. Here is the final product for Baby Jason!

P.S. We are now accepting reservations for future diaper cakes ;)

4 months old!

So our little man is growing so quickly. We had his 4 month checkup this week which included immunizations :( He did really good though. No fevers or crabbiness :) He weighed in at 15 lbs. 14 oz. 24.5 inches long and 16.25 inches for his head. Weight is 75th percentile and length and head are around 30th percentile. He is hitting all his milestones and forming such a funny little personality. He loves to sit in his BUMBO chair and IChat with Mimi and Pops (Andy's parents). He loves his Wednesday morning visits to Nan's (my mom). And we have recently starting going to Stroller Strides. Stroller Strides is a fitness class for moms and babies. I am actually going to start instructing in March, so JD and I will be working out together :) He is eating his cereal with a spoon (see video in previous post) and he is quite the smiley boy! The picture in this post is after his doctor's appt. He was exhausted after crying from his shots :(

Go Saints!

We had a little family party for my mom's birthday and the Superbowl. I was very sad that I had not thought to find some cute Superbowl gear so last minute Andy and I made shirts for me and JD! I remembered we had some iron on transfer paper and with a little printing magic we came up with some pretty cute shirts! And they were obviously some lucky shirts cuz the Saints won!!!
