Christmas Day

Jameson' First Christmas Morning

We leisurely woke up this morning. We can do that because we only have a 3 month old ;) We had a wonderful Christmas morning with just our little family opening gifts, IChating with Andy's family, and making food for Christmas dinner. Then we proceeded to my Mom's for Christmas. We had an amazing 4 course dinner followed up by a Bags tournament :) Great day with a great family!

Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve at my Uncle Kevin and Aunt Tina's house. Here are pictures of the kids with some of their new toys, opening up presents, playing ping pong, and sitting by the fire. It was a great evening with many memories!

Happy Heart Day!!!

We saw Jameson's cardiologist today and he is officially cleared with a "good heart!" Which means his 2 valves that were in question have closed and the enlargment in his left ventricle is normal because of his diaphragmatic hernia. He still has a murmur but he has what is called an "innocent" murmur which is common. Moral of the story all is good and he does not have to go back to see him. Now for anyone who has never seen an infant get a chest xray.......don't!!! They put him in this medieval torture chamber device that was a plastic tube and stood him up, strapped him in and let go! I wish we could have got a picture of it but they wouldn't let us ;) Anyways it was an experience. I stayed strong though and did not cry! One more specialist to go and we will have a fully medically healthy baby boy :) We see the pulmonologist on Jan. 4th so we will keep you posted.

JD's Milestones- Week 9

Ok I skipped a week, sorry time got away from me.

*immunizations this past week :( He did great though. Barely cried and was not fussy or feverish after, just sleepy! I think compared to what he went through the first 2 weeks of life this was nothing ;)
*weighed in at 12 lbs. 4 oz.-50 percentile; height was 22.25-25th percentile; and head was 15.25-25th percentile
*he is smiling so much more and has even laughed a few times
*sleeping 5-5.5 hours straight at night

Mason's Christmas Program 2009

Here is a short video from Mason's Christmas Program. I took the video from my IPhone because I forgot my video camera so it is not zoomed in. They are singing and signing "Silent Night" Listen for the part when they sing "Peace!" It is very cute :)

Girlie Christmas Party

On Thursday night my friend Andrea hosted a little Christmas soiree at her house with our girlfriends. We had such a great time! It was so nice to get out of the house and spend some quality time with the girls. Andy was even sweet enough to drive me, Kelley, and Sandra so we didn't have to worry.....if you live in Arizona you know that you can't drive if you have had one drink!!! It was a fun evening and here are some pics of some of my favorite ladies :) We missed you Ranee!

Santa & Mrs. Claus came to visit

Dean and Marie brought their Santa and Mrs. Claus outfits all the way from Michigan to capture some unforgettable memories for Jameson! Aren't they believable? :)

We then went to my Dad's house to surprise Mason and Mylie! Dean and Marie were so great, they stayed in character the whole time. It was very magical to see their little faces light up with excitement.

Santa & Mrs. Claus enter the house unannounced!

Mason is shocked!!!

Mason gives Santa his list

Mylie is mesmerized by the man with the white beard :)

Mason shows Santa his train around the Christmas tree

Jameson is confused.....Pops or Santa???

The cousins with Santa and Mrs. Claus

Mason offers The Clause's a cookie for the trek back to the North Pole

The attempt the get the kids together.....we will try this again at a later date ;)

Great quote of the night, Mason says to his mom "Mom now Santa won't get lost on Christmas Eve, he already knows where I live!"
