A Big Thank You

I had the most amazing baby shower given for me today by my mom and sister. They completely out did themselves to make this day one of the most special in my life. They thought of everything and executed beautifully. The food was phenomenal. My mom made everything from scratch and put out a beautiful brunch for almost 30 ladies! My mom also took her creative gene to the bassinet and tailored it to the nursery colors.
My sister opened up her home to host the festivities and created such a warm and inviting atmosphere. She spent endless hours on little details that made all the difference in the world. From the picture frame guest book to the bib decorating station to the cake and to the special scrapbook that is being put together.
I can not thank the both of you enough for all of your hard work, creativity, time, love, and support. I do not know what I would do without either of you, especially through this special time in my life. I love you both!!!
A thank you to Miss Lauren for your amazing Brazilian Mimosa's. Unfortunately I did not get to partake, but I heard from all that they were tasty!
Thank you also to Miss Gail for driving all over the valley for last minute tasks and the best cake story ever ;)
And to Marie aka Mimi for the tear jerking sentimental gifts. Who would of thought you would be the one to bring all the ladies to tears, including me!!! Thank you for all the knitting work, I think his big dome and little dome will be well heated ;)
And to all of the guests. Thank you so much for attending and being a part of this special day. You are all so generous and supportive! I could not ask for a better group of women to spend an afternoon with. Thank you!!!
And to all my girls that could not make it. I appreciate all your well wishes and miss you all very much!
Thank you to everyone that made this day a brilliant success! I will never forget this. This little boy sure has a lot of amazing people that already care about him!!! And I will never let him forget it :)

The baby in 4D!!!

We had our 3D/4D ultrasound yesterday. What an amazing experience. He was extremely active but he did not want to pose in quite the ideal positions. So we got what we could. The whole family was able to be there through the magic of technology. My family was in the room with us and Andy's family in Michigan was on IChat (which is like Skype) so they could talk and hear and they also had a webcast through an outside company so they could see the ultrasound as it was going on. Very Cool!!!

rare face shot, he did not want to keep his hands away from his face :)
profile shot, if you look closely you can see that is eye is open
That is his right leg, underneath his right foot is his left foot. Towards the bottom is his little butt ;)
Another face shot, mouth open
This is his modest pose, "No pictures please!" ;)
Mouth open tongue out!!!

Gym/Work Baby Shower

My boss and co-workers threw me a baby shower at the gym on Friday evening. We had a great time. I appreciate all that were able to make it! Thank you :)

7 Month Prego Pics

Baby's Armoire

So my sister bought this armoire off of Craigslist before Mylie was born. They have since moved and sadly enough for them it did not fit in their new place. But their misfortune was our gain, so Andy and I took it and repainted it. In Mylie's room it was a shabby chic looking pale pink and cream color and the after for our still nameless baby is well you can see for yourself........
We also wanted to show you all of the prep work that went in to this masterpiece ;)
