A day in the life of......

Mr. Hudson Wayne! It's rough but somebody's gotta do it!

Tummy Time or Tummy Nap, depends on how he is feeling ;)

In a Moby wrap on Mom. If you don't know what this is I understand. It is about 5 yards of fabric and you wrap it around yourself in such a way that your baby is swaddled inside it close to your chest and basically sleeps. It is awesome when you have another child because your hands are free!

Awake time hanging out on Mom and Dad's bed (away from brother's wrath :)

More sleep time but this time in another apparatus......the swing!

There are lots of feeding and diaper changes in the mix but I decided to leave those out ;)

Boys Will Be Boys

So my sweet baby boy has officially become a stinky, dirty toddler boy! I have dreaded this day when the smell of baby lotion, Dreft detergent and all around sweetness would leave my first born. He now oozes sweat, dirt and whatever snack he has just eaten. But such is life and it is extrememly entertaining to watch him tirelessly go from the front yard to the back yard collecting items along the way. Here is an example from yesterday morning!

JD also ate his first PB&J sandwich today (crust and all)

ShuffleBaby :)

So when Andy and I were young, cool and hip and went to the bars we loved to play table shuffleboard. Now we are parents and we play ShuffleBAby :)

Hudson is ONE month already!!

Please no pictures!!! ;)

Can't believe Hudson is already a month old! The time has flown. We had his checkup on Friday and all was well. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 4 oz. 20.75 inches and 14.5 inch head. He is about the 25th percentile across the board. He is just a peanut :)
He is still doing great with breastfeeding! I started pumping this week and he took his first bottle, which was a success! That also meant a little freedom for mommy :)
Hudson is a great baby. He is quite alert throughout the day and definetly enjoys watching his crazy brother whirl around the house. He hates diaper changes, baths and if mommy keeps him waiting a nanosecond to feed :) But he smiles already and loves to lay on our chests to sleep, nothing better than that.

Hudson also loves tummy time, especially when JD joins in!

Happy Valentine's Day

Today JD and I made some sweet treats for the people close to our hearts and then hand delivered our valentine's :) Dada got some extra special treatment and was fed his chocolate covered strawberries :)

Huddy wanted to say Happy Valentine's Day too ;-)

16 months + 3 weeks=Tons of smiles

This week JD turns 16 months old and Hudson is 3 weeks old!
JD is a chatty dude!!! We have no idea what he is saying most of the time but that doesn't seem to matter to him :)
Hudson is doing great! He is awake a lot more this week and is growing too! I think in the next few days he will be out of newborn diapers and maybe in a few 0-3 month outfits :) Here are a few pics from the week.

My sister took JD to Target and he decided he was going to take his nap in the cart........sitting up :)

He is such a rockstar......just like Daddy!

Huddy taking a nap.......so sweet and peaceful

Tummy Time!!!

Strollin' in the BOB Duallie

It was absolutely gorgeous today and by gorgeous I mean clear blue skies and 71 degrees (JD is wearing shorts)!!! So I loaded up the kiddos and took a walk around the neighborhood. JD felt right at home and Hudson seemed to settle in nicely to his seat!

Nana's Birthday oh and the Superbowl :)

My poor Mom!!! Her birthday keeps falling on Superbowl weekend so we keep dual celebrating her day and the day of football. But my mom is not a sports fan so I know she sucks it up for the good of the family and plays along! Next year mom it will be all about you!!! Here are a few pics from our Birthday/Superbowl celebration!

Hudson in his football onsie!

Hudson is 2 weeks old!!!

Well we are officially in the swing of having 2 kids!!! What a transition!!! Since we have established some normalcy this week things have been good. Andy went back to work, I have been feeling better and JD has gotten over the initial shock of having a new sibling :) Hudson is an amazing baby. He is nursing so well and is a great little sleeper!

Jameson has been such a great big brother and Hudson loves to watch him!
