Children's Museum of Phoenix

Yesterday Andy and I took Jameson and Mason to the Children's Museum of Phoenix. We had a great time! There were so many cool and fun things for each of them to do. And it is quite difficult to go somewhere that a 5 year and 1 year old will enjoy! I highly recommend a trip to downtown Phoenix to partake in the museum, you will not be disappointed. I secretly wish adult museums had more activties like children's museums :)

The NOODLE FOREST!!!

The huge wall of CD's

Mason showing JD a cool activity

Arts & Crafts Room. There is a castle in the center of the room that the kids smock up grab a paint brush and go for it! Then there are tables set up with different art projects they can participate in. Yesterday they had a very easy and cute paper Dove craft for the New Year! Forgot to get a picture of this because I was too busy making my dove :)

The FORT room! This room was full of imagination. There were all kinds of sheets, clips, random items to drape things over to build any kind of fort you could think of! Genius!!!

The CLIMBER! This structure was unbelievable! It is 3 stories high and you can get lost in it! I think Mason and Andy got lost a few times :)

And the exhaustion has set in for all 3 boys :)

Christmas Morning Extravaganza!

Oh Christmas morning!!! Jameson is not fully into the opening gifts thing yet but he had fun after they were open!

Baby #2 got a few cute items also!!!

Mom and Dad got a few gifts too!!! A Keurig single cup coffee maker for Dad and a Skip Hop Duo Diaper Bag for Mom. We know you're jealous ;)

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas Eve!

Well we kind of disappointed ourselves with our picture taking skills throughout the Christmas weekend :( It was exhausting chasing after a one year old 8.5 months pregnant and snapping photos! I know I know I am whining and I will stop now and just say, sorry for the sad display!

We celebrated Christmas Eve at my mom's house with me, Andy, JD, my mom, my dad, Gail, Kelley, Steve, Mason, Mylie, Uncle Kevin, Aunt Tina, and Cousin Kody. We had a great meal, thanks Mom, and had a fantastic time opening gifts and playing with sparklers! If you have not heard Arizona has recently legalized a few kinds of fireworks.
It was a fantastic evening and was so nice to get to spend some quality time with the family.

Couples Bunco NOT!!! Surprise Baby Shower YES!!!

For months my Bunco group (consisting of 8 women) were planning a holiday couples Bunco night! We had the date, the food, the plan......so I thought. Somewhere down the line my sister decided to flip the script and make it a SURPRISE baby shower for Andy and I! So Kelley, my mom, and my girlfriends Maritza, Desiree, and Allyssa started planning.
We could have not been more shocked!!! We literally had no idea. We could not believe the amount of people that we see on a daily basis were in on this fib. Here are some pictures from our super SURPRISE baby shower :)

The group waiting for us to arrive!

Here we go with the looks of shock and dismay from Andy and I. I kept looking behind me thinking the SURPRISE was for someone else :)

Kelley relishing in her victory!

Party People!

The food was unbelievable! Everyone brought fun appitizers and desserts and Maritza made steak fajitas, homemade beans and rice. Yummy!!! Dora can cook too!!! :) And a big thank you to Jeff for making the sinful White Chocolate Bread Pudding!

My sister's now famous Cake Balls! Look how cute and festive they are for our little boy!!! Thanks sissy!

And then there was the super intense game of LEFT RIGHT CENTER! It felt like a poker tournament the way Kelley bracketed it all out :) And at the end the pot went to Andy and I as our shower gift! Along with over 800 diapers!!!

It was an amazing night filled with amazing people! We felt so loved and blessed and grateful for such wonderful people in our lives. We thank everyone for helping us celebrate our new little bundle and a very special thank you to........
Desiree & Allyssa for being such great best friends and wanting to be such a big part of this shower! You girls are next!!!
Maritza for hosting this fabulous soiree at Casita Newcomb and making my favorite dishes no less. You are by far the hostess with the mostess!
My mama for always making us feel like the most special people in the universe! Thank you for your hardwork and secret keeping!
And to Kelley for taking the time to plan and organize such an unforgettable night! You truly are such a gift to our little family and I am thankful everyday that I get to call you my sister!
