Memorial Day Weekend Camping/Mylie Jo Hospitalized!

So for those of you that do not know my Dad he has become quite the camper/rider this past year! He bought a Yamaha Rhino (2 passenger side by side UTV) and a travel trailer/toy hauler about a year and a half ago. Since then he has bought a quad and a small quad for Mason! Every trip he goes on he wants us all to be there to experience the joys of the outdoors! My sister and her family are much more quick to participate in these rugged adventures than Andy and I ;) We are the city folk of the family! Also I have been pregnant or had a newborn the whole time he has owned these things, so it was too out of my comfort zone to brave the wilderness. But this Memorial Day we planned a big trip to go and camp from Friday to Monday!!! Andy was able to borrow a Ranger (6 passenger side by side UTV) which meant the whole family could go on rides together :) Very fun!!!

We had a couple great rides on Saturday and then we had a medical scare! Miss Mylie Jo got very sick Saturday night and went to the Flagstaff Hospital emergency room. They quickly admitted her because she was not breathing well! As of today, Monday, she is still in the hospital in Flag! This hour she is to be moving down from the PEDS ICU to the regular PEDS floor. She has been unable to regulate her breathing well enough to be released. They are saying it was probably a virus and then the dust from camping triggered it from good to bad quickly. Mylie was diagnosed with RSV when she was 6 weeks old, so these types of illnesses are very scary! Her little lungs were compromised at a such a young age it is more difficult for her to fight pulmonary issues. So please keep Mylie Jo in your thoughts and prayers! We are hoping she is discharged tomorrow and that they can return to Phoenix sooner than later.
