Huddy is 9 months old!
So our crawling stud has turned 9 months old! Poor Hud is a teething nightmare right now. He has 3 teeth already and is in the process of getting 3 more, 2 being his top front teeth!!! He/we are not sleeping well and we have tried everything in our bag of tricks to soothe him but the only thing that does is a bottle :( Which means Hudson is downing 3 additional bottles a night!!! We have brightened up a little and have been not giving him as much formula and doing smaller bottles. The last thing Hudson needs is more calories ;) He will not take a pacifier either! I never thought I would hope for a kid to take a paci with what we got going on with Jd but at 2am I am trying to teach Hudson the benefits of the good ol paci.......he's not buying it!
But during the day he is as bright, cheery, and happy as the day is long! Here are some pics from the last few weeks of our Hudson Wayne, such a handsome baby :)
We are starting him early on the importance of proper dental care and where you do it ;)
"Oh am I not supposed to be playing with this?"
"Leave the gun, take the cannoli!" :0)
Tupperware party!!!

Fun Stats and Pics
The most recent stats on the boys is that there is a whopping 4 pound weight difference between the two :)
In the red corner we have Jd"the Bean" Kirkland weighing in at 29 pounds and in the blue corner we have Hudson "The Tank" Kirkland weighing in at 25 pounds!!!
Here is how the fight would start but I have a feeling in another 6 months it might end differently ;)
"I don't want to smile right now Mom!"
"Seriously I am going to go middle of the night teething nightmare on you if you don't get that camera out of my face!!!"
So Mom gets brother to help
And it works like a charm
"Yep I pretty much rock at this big brother thing!"
Hudson started eating some teething crackers this week and he loves them!
Phoenix Trip
Jd flies in style with his Sony headphones, IPad and Cars the Movie. And Andy found this awesome Airplane Child Restraint system that makes the child feel like they are in their carseat but you don't have to lug the carseat on the plane. Amen to that!
Huddy lucked out and got his own seat and slept the whole flight!!
After a few days in the Valley we headed up north to Prescott to my mom and Gail's cabin. We did some riding, relaxing and recharging! It was awesome quality time with my family!
Hudson is crawling!
Well our world has officially been rocked ;) Mr. Hudson Wayne is on the move!!!! On October 8, 2011 at 8.5 months old he somehow with great strength and power got on all fours and moved all of his 25 pounds in a crawl like pattern :) This video is from that day!!! Make sure you wait for how proud he is of himself ;)
Jameson is 2!!!
Our first born in 2 already! We can not believe that 2 years ago we were scared out of our minds wondering if our little man was going to pull through his first weeks of life! But did he ever and with a vengeance :) We can not imagine our lives without him and are so grateful that he had the strength and tenacity to fight for his life! Jd is now the most independant, funny, smart, and rambuctious toddler..........everything a 2 year old boy is supposed to be :) Happy Birthday Jameson Dean, we love you very much!
For Jd and Andy's birthday we had lots of family that came to visit! Andy's parents, Dean and Marie, and my mom (Cathy) and Aunt Boo Boo (Gail) We had a fun filled weekend with stops at Jubilee Farms Pumpkin Patch, Starbucks Corporate (to check out Andy's work), Woodinville wine country, and a small birthday bash for the boys! So lets get started with some pictures.......
On the tractor to the pumpkin patch
Huddy found his pumpkin and a gourd to teethe on :)
Jd is using his gourd as a telephone :)
Very specific and serious about his pumpkin choice, must check out the WHOLE patch before making the big decision ;)
The birthday bash!!!
Thanks to Uncle Steve, Aunt Kelley, Mason and Mylie for the Thomas scooter
Thanks to Mimi and Papa for the balance bike!
Thanks to Great Aunt Toots and Great Uncle Ed for the Care Bears! They got a ride on the Thomas scooter shortly after being opened :)
Thanks to Nana and BooBoo for all the trucks and new kicks :)
Thanks to Uncle Aric Aunt D'Ann and Aralyn for the "constructive eating" set. I now have to wash this plate after each using so it is ready to go for the next meal because he will not eat on another plate or use another utensil :)
And last but certainly not least Happy Birthday to my sweet, patient, and hardworking husband!!! You so graciously take a backseat on your birthday for our son but I know you wouldn't want it any other way! I love you and can't wait for the next 35 years :)
