Sold.....to the bidder with the baby :)
We got some excellent tickets from my Dad to Barrett-Jackson car auction. The tickets were Bidder's VIP access with a Bidder's Bar card and free parking at the lot right at the entrance. If anyone has ever been to the auction you know parking sucks! These tickets were for people that were actually bidding on the cars :) Unfortunately Andy and I do not have an extra 100k lying around to spend on a vehicle but we were going to act like it ;) So we walked around the whole auction, had a couple drinks, ate, and enjoyed the AZ sun all for free! It was a great Sunday, thanks Dad for the hook-up!

3 months old!
We went to Jameson's 3 month checkup today. He weighed in at 14 lbs. 13 oz. (75th percentile) 23.5 inches long (25th percentile) and 16 inch head (25th percentile) I for sure thought the head was a larger percentile than that ;) No shots today which was great! Everything looked great and the pediatrician is so happy with his progress. We will have to start getting auditory tests performed every few months because of a correlation with diaphragmatic hernias and hearing issues. Just another specialist, but we think he is hearing just fine so we are not too worried about that. So all in all it was a great visit and Mr. Jameson is right where he should be.

Desiree's 30th Birthday
AGHHH I am officially getting old! My 30th birthday is in a few months and reality is setting in. All my friends are starting to have their parties and I can't believe we are 30! Desiree's birthday was exceptionally special for two reasons 1. it was Desiree's :) and 2. It was a reunion for our families. I will explain a bit.
When my family moved out to Cave Creek Desiree and Allyssa were two of my first friends. That was 18 years ago!!! Allyssa moved to Ahwatukee when we were 14 and our families lost touch. But Desiree remedied all that recently and we have all been reunited. Last night was the first time my mom and I had seen her parents in 16 years! We had such an amazing time, and to make it even more special they all got to meet Jameson! Of my group of middle school/high school friends I am the first one to have a baby! Happy Birthday Desiree and thank you for such a memorable night!

Mylie's Rescheduled Birthday Party.....and the Cardinals 1st playoff game!
Miss Mylie Jo was very sick the day of her birthday party so it had to be rescheduled. It was initially going to be at a park with all her little friends and family but we ended up just doing a tiny family party at my mom's, which coincidentally was the playoff game for the Cardinals.....two in one!
I did these cake pictures backwards but you get the idea, she started out slow but dived in and then was done! :)

No Excuses!!!
This weekend Andy and I set up a home gym. I realized that I needed to come up with a new plan on how I can get my pre baby body back. Before the baby I would just go to the gym, but I can't take him there because he can not be in a daycare setting. Over the years we have accumulated quite a bit of exercise equipment, so we thought we would put it to good use. Another plus to this addition on the house is I can work from home. This week I am going back to work two days a week. Because of this limited schedule I will be losing quite a bit of income so the home gym is hopefully going to solve that problem. I am going to be scheduling clients during nap times, evenings, and weekends. So for all of you that have set some health conscious New Year's resolutions and are in need of a trainer let me know. "No excuses" is my motto for 2010!!!
Breathing a little easier!
Jameson had his appointment with the pulmonologist today and it went great! He checked out perfectly, well perfectly for a diaphragmatic hernia baby. But she is confident he will have full pulmonary function pending he does not get any infections. We are keeping our fingers crossed and our bubble boy tucked away so that does not happen. We do not have to see her again for a year!!! We are so grateful that Jameson is doing so well and we know how lucky we are. Although to this day neither Andy or I have researched diaphragmatic hernias. The results are very scary and we choose to watch our little miracle instead. Maybe someday when we get farther from the reality!
P.S. He weighted in at 14 lbs.!!!

Happy Birthday Mylie Jo!!!
Our little New Year's Eve baby has turned 1 already!!! The year flew by and this little bundle of joy has grown into a beautiful walking toddler. She always has a smile on her face. She gives her brother a run for his money. She has her daddy wrapped around her finger and her mommy wondering how she ever lived without her. Our sweet niece has brought a bright light into this family. We love you Mylie!!!
