First Battlewound

This past week Jameson had his first major spill with blood and all. He was very tired and was walking around my mom's coffee table and lost his balance catching the corner of the table on the way down. He was bleeding from the corner of his eye and freaking out of course. After a minute or so he was fine, I was not! We were thinking he was going to have quite the shiner the next morning but to our surprise it looked much better! That area, apparently, heals very fast!
The first blood shed is over and I have decided that being a boy mom is going to be harder on me than I thought. We find out on Wednesday the sex of the baby. If it is another boy I need to toughen myself up ;)

Aralyn Marie Kirkland

Introducing our new niece and Jameson's newest cousin, Aralyn Marie. Aralyn was born on 8/17/10 at 5:06a.m. She was 6 lbs. 8 oz. and 18.5 inches long. She is Andy's brother, Aric and his wife, D'Ann's first child. She couldn't be a luckier little girl to be born into such a wonderful family. She is loved by so many already! We were so glad we got to be there for her first few days of life and can't wait to go back to see how much she has changed. Congratulations Aric and D'Ann! Your miracle was well worth the wait!!!

We flew to Michigan this weekend because Andy's brother, Aric, and his wife, D'Ann, had their baby girl (pictures to follow in the next post) While there Mimi and Pops got some quality time with Jameson. Here are some fun pics

The pool was open for business while we were in Michigan and JD loves his pool time so he was very excited that Mimi loves to swim!!! Here are some great photos of the two of them :)

10 months old!

Well Mr. Jameson turned 10 months old today! And I must say he has become quite the mobile machine. He is full on crawling now! Forgot to get a recent video of that, mental note for tomorrow :) But here is a video of him pushing his walker around, notice the little dance about half way through :)

First DBacks Game

My friend Desiree gave us some amazing tickets to the Diamondbacks baseball game for Sunday's game. It was a day game which was a perfect opportunity to introduce Jameson to America's favorite pasttime :) We had a great time, well actually JD slept from the 2nd inning through the 5th :) The Dbacks lost but it was still a fantastic day at the ballpark!

Ready or Not Here......

Ready or not here Baby Kirkland #2 comes!!!! WE ARE PREGNANT AGAIN!!!
We are 13 weeks along and officially out of the first trimester. WOOHOO!!! Everything has been going extremely well. Baby's measurements and heartbeat are exactly where they should be. The due date is my mom's birthday, February 6th!!! But as with Jameson the baby will be taken 3 weeks early so it is looking like mid January.
I also have to continue with the heparin injections through the pregnancy to make sure I do not have any blood clots :(
We are very excited to be adding to our family, even though it is quite soon after JD. But we are not getting any younger so we might as well get all the baby stuff over at the same time ;) The kids will be about 15 months 1 week apart!!! So we have decided we are just going to be crazy for a few years :) So don't expect to much from us for three years or so ;)
We will of course keep you all updated on Baby #2's progress. And yes we will be finding out the sex! Hopefully that will happen in the next month. Any early votes??? I am thinking boy again, but my doctor and Andy are thinking girl! Tune in to find out.......
