This week was more discovering! We went to out first Stroller Stride play date. It was at Kumon tutoring center and they did a craft (obviously JD was too little for that) but he was fascinated with storytime. He was front and center!
WE found the coolest named street ever, it is about 6 blocks from where we live :)
We found some amazing ice cream at Husky's Deli! JD loved it!!! Unfortunatly it is walking distance which could be bad news for mommy's thighs :)
We started bathing the boys together
And they came out of the bath closer than ever :)

Seattle Week 1
After the boys and I flew into Seattle we had a pretty busy week! Marie, Dean and my mom (Cathy) were all in town so we took a trip to Pike's Place Market. It ended up being a nightmare trip because JD was not having a good afternoon :( So I do not have many pictures as I would like to forget the day happened ;)
My mom was kind enough to watch the kids so Andy and I could have a date night, which was long overdue! We went to a great seafood restaurant in downtown Seattle called Etta's Seafood! Yummy!!!
After all the parents left it was me and the kids during the day! We hit our first Stroller Strides class, we found Rainier cherries, found an awesome children consignment store, and explored the neighborhood, even went to a street fair!
Scored this swing (that works) for $20!!!
Alki Beach where Stroller Strides is located! Yep we get to workout at the beach 3x a week!

Hudson is 6 months old!!!
My baby is a half a year old!!! How did this happen so quickly. It is so true that it goes so much faster with the second.
Hudson is the happiest most content baby I have ever met! His smile will melt your heart and his laugh will make you forget all your worries. He loves to watch his big brother and loves to play with his favorite toys.
He loves to rock in his swing (eventhough I think he might have exceeded the weight limit)
He also loves to sit up and view the world all on his own (see video)
He loves to ride in the stroller and take in the sights and he loves loves loves to eat.
And he loves his mama and his new baby carrier :)
We feel so privelaged and fortunate that this little guy came into our lives and are enjoying every minute of his cheery disposition. Happy Half a Year Birthday Huddy!!!

Welcome to Seattle!!!
Well we have officially moved to Seattle!!! Andy took a job with Starbucks Corporate, kind of his dream job :) Andy moved Memorial Day Weekend and the kids and I flew out on July 5th. We chose an area called West Seattle. We chose this part of the city for many reasons but the main ones were its proximity to Starbucks (Andy has been using mass transit to commute) and to downtown (10 min. from all the happenings) and its quaint neighborhood feeling. This is a cool website to see all the happenings in our new neighborhood

So another draw to this area is the adorable houses. Here is ours.......isn't it cute!!!!
Our families really stepped up to help us with this move. My dad and Steve (my brother-in-law) helped load the POD (the container that held most of our belongings) and then came back a week later and helped load the trailer that took the rest of our stuff that Andy pulled behind my Tahoe. My mom, Gail and my sister helped me out with the kids while all this packing and loading was going on. Then Andy's parents flew to Seattle a week before me and the kids got here and helped Andy unload the POD and trailer and unpacked almost everything!!! I am not kidding when we showed up the house was a home not a mess of boxes! I can not tell you how helpful this was. I would love to say that I have this whole mother of two babies thing down but I don't! I barely get my teeth brushed in a day so to think of unpacking our entire lives and putting it away properly was extrememly daunting. Luckily my in-laws rock and I didn't have to worry about it! I'm a lucky girl.
Also my mom flew to Seattle with me and the boys. That was a huge help as well! Not sure how I would have done that that without her. I did realize that I will not be flying by myself with them for a long time! Here are a few pics from the flight. This was Hudson's first flight!
And when we finally arrived at the house JD took a seat on the front steps and gave a little grin as to say, "I'm home!"
