Yep I'm 2.5!!!

Jameson Dean turned 2.5 on April 9th! So this week he decided his favorite phrases are, "That's Crazy!" and "Cool, mama!" So this pic just seems to go with his cool and crazy theme :)

Jd marches to his own independent beat! He challenges us daily but surprises us with all the new things he learns. Jd can recite the alphabet, pick out letters while reading, knows all his colors and can count to 15. He loves to play outside! Some of his favorite outside activities are playing baseball, playing in the sandbox, going down slides and climbing play structures, blowing bubbles and taking walks. If it is not raining we go on at least one walk a day :)

Walking Roger!

Checking out the orangutan at the zoo

Some of his favorite indoor activites are playing at the train table, watching his 2 favorite shows Bubble Guppies and Super Why, pulling or pushing anything with wheels at warp speed through the house (mom is not a fan of this one) and coloring!

Eating cupcakes!

We just enrolled Jd in preschool for Fall of this year. He will be going 2 days a week! In February we took the pacifier away :( It was horrible! I took him to Build-A-Bear to make a bear and place the pacifiers in it, thinking he could sleep with the bear and still be comforted by the fact that his paci's were near but not jacking up his teeth. Well that backfired! He hated the entire experience of making the bear and was angry that this thing had stole his paci's. So then he did not have anything to comfort himself at nap and nighttime. So it was a pretty rough week. He stopped asking for it after 2 weeks but me heart was broke for him and he just seemed a little sad and lost for awhile. So glad that Hudson does not take a pacifier so we only had to go through that nightmare once!!!
He is also staring to get a little interested in potty training. He will sit on his potty and the big potty but not do anything. So at least he is not scared of it! But I do not think he is fully ready yet. But he is close and it will be very exciting to only have one child in diapers!
